HOUSTON — Shipley Do-Nuts closed out 2024 with a bang, marking its 16th consecutive quarter of increasing same-store sales, all backed by astonishing record-breaking figures.
Expansion and Growth
This year stood out for the company, as it undertook its largest expansion to date, opening 24 new locations in diverse markets.
Remarkably, 12 of these new shops opened just in the fourth quarter, eclipsing last year’s record by an impressive 26%.
By adopting more flexible store formats, Shipley has not only shortened development timelines but also significantly reduced construction costs.
Looking ahead, in 2025, the company is gearing up to expand its growth plans almost twofold.
Franchise Development Success
The franchise development front is equally robust, with nearly 200 agreements already secured.
In a landmark achievement for 2024, Shipley forged partnerships to establish an astounding 117 new shops, setting a new record for the brand.
The fourth quarter also saw the signing of a major multi-unit agreement with Virentes Partners Group, paving the way for 22 new locations across Nashville, Tennessee, as well as Jacksonville and Tampa, Florida, slated for opening in 2025.
Future Outlook
Shipley’s loyalty program enjoyed tremendous success this year, witnessing a 50% growth.
Additionally, the introduction of egg and cheese kolaches proved to be a hit, quickly becoming the brand’s most successful limited-time menu item in its 88-year history, now earning a permanent spot on the menu.
